As warm weather approaches, I keep thinking about our last summer vacation. Last year, we traded our daily routine for the sun-soaked shores of Crete. It was the perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and togetherness. For seven days — toddler included — we indulged in everything our beautiful resort had to offer. Normally, a resort wouldn’t be our first choice, but with a 2.5-year-old in tow, it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
From sunrise breakfasts overlooking the Aegean Sea to sunset walks along the beach, it was exactly the kind of grounding, gorgeous getaway I needed.
